
Pro-Cert's operating policies and procedures conform with the International Standards Organization ISO/IEC Guide 65 (and related guides); the EEC European Economic Community Standard EN 45011 and the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) Standard CANP-3G. Accreditation to this effect was first received from the Standards Council of Canada on November 28, 2001. Pro-Cert, formally OCPP/Pro-Cert Canada Inc. (OC/PRO) was accredited as a certifying agent by the USDA NOP on May 24, 2002. Pro-Cert was accredited to conform with Quebec requirements by the Committee on Accreditation for Evaluation of Quality (CAEQ) on June 20, 2001. Pro-Cert was also accredited by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to certify agricultural products as organic in accordance with the requirements set out in CAN/CGSB 32.310 and CAN/CGSB 32.311 on July 6, 2009.
Pro-Cert obtained accreditation to certify to the Japanese Agricultural Standard (JAS) by the Japan Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) in May of 2010. It also applied for accreditation to the South Korean Minister of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MIFAFF) on October 23, 2009.
